In May 2026 Crystal Crown Media acquired Bayworld Unlimited, the Oakland 2D animation studio that Bruce Bowers and Christopher Ellis co-founded in 2016.
Bayworld created Vonnworld: The Animated Series, It’s The Van Amburgs and The Mario Hodge 5-Minute Comedy Hour, and is now the studio’s animation division.
